
This 14-day adventure takes you deep into the heart of Pakistan. You’ll explore historic cities, travel the legendary Karakoram Highway, trek to the base camps of Nanga Parbat and Rakaposhi, camp under star-filled skies, and stay with local communities in some of the country’s most spectacular mountain villages.
With all transport, accommodation, meals, guides, and logistics taken care of, this trip is about experiencing Pakistan at its rawest, most welcoming, and most unforgettable—together with strangers who will soon become friends.

Day 1: Arrival in Lahore
We'll pick you up at Allama Iqbal International Airport and take you to our hotel in Lahore. After settling into the hotel, we’ll head out for lunch and explore the historic Anarkali Bazaar. In the evening, we’ll witness the Wagah Border parade, followed by dinner at a secret members-only bar—perfect for relaxing and breaking the ice with a local drink.Day 2: Lahore - Islamabad
After breakfast, we’ll explore the historic Badshahi Mosque and Fort, soaking in Lahore’s cultural charm. Lunch will be at Haveli Restaurant with beautiful views of the mosque. In the afternoon, we’ll begin our 5-hour drive to Islamabad, where dinner will be served at the accommodation.

Day 3: Drive to Jaglot
Today is a long but incredibly scenic drive along the legendary Karakoram Highway. We’ll pass through beautiful valleys and mountain passes, making several short stops along the way. By evening, we’ll reach Jaglot, where we’ll spend the night.Day 4: Journey to Fairy Meadows
Drive to Raikot Bridge (45 mins), then switch to jeeps for a thrilling 2-hour ride to Tattu Village. From there, hike around 3 hours through forest trails to Fairy Meadows. Have lunch en route and settle into charming wooden cabins for the night.

Day 5: Nanga Parbat Base Camp Trek
Today’s full-day trek takes you to Nanga Parbat Base Camp via Beyal Camp (approx. 9 hours round trip). Have lunch at the base camp with views of glaciers and towering peaks before returning to Fairy Meadows.Day 6: Drive to Karimabad
We’ll trek down from Fairy Meadows and take jeeps to the Karakoram Highway, where our bus will be waiting. On the way to Karimabad, we’ll stop at the iconic viewpoint where the Karakoram, Himalayas, and Hindu Kush ranges meet. In the evening, enjoy a traditional dinner in Karimabad, followed by some time for local shopping.

Day 7: Rakaposhi - Happakun Camp
Start your morning wandering through the lively markets of Karimabad, where you can pick up gemstones, handmade jewelry, and traditional crafts. After lunch, drive to Minapin and begin your hike to Happakun Camp, where you’ll spend the night camping under the stars.Day 8: Rakaposhi Base Camp - Eagles Nest
Start the day with an early morning hike to the base camp of Rakaposhi. After soaking in the views, descend back to Minapin for lunch. In the afternoon, drive to Eagle’s Nest, where you'll be treated to panoramic views of the valley and several towering 7,000-meter peaks. Spend the night at Eagle’s Nest, indulging in a BBQ and a little celebration under the stars.

Day 9: Attabad Lake - Baskochi - Ghulkin Homestay
Catch a stunning sunrise from the viewpoint at Eagle’s Nest, then enjoy a relaxed breakfast before starting the drive toward Attabad Lake. We’ll stop here for lunch, a scenic boat ride, and an optional hike to Baskochi for sweeping views of the lake. Tonight, we’ll stay in the charming village of Ghulkin, hosted in a cozy local homestay.Day 10: Borith Lake - Bridges - Passu
After an early breakfast, set off to cross the Black Glacier, followed by a refreshing swim in the serene waters of Borith Lake. Head to the viewpoint for a breathtaking look at the Passu White Glacier, then cross the iconic Passu Suspension Bridge. We’ll wrap up the day with our Ready For Road tradition—snapping a group photo in front of the majestic Passu Cathedral Peaks.

Day 11: Drive to Skardu - Cold Desert
Today, we embark on a scenic 6–7 hour drive to the breathtaking valley of Skardu. Upon arrival, we’ll enjoy lunch before heading out to explore the surreal Cold Desert experience, a beautiful jeep safari ride.Day 12: Skardu - Marsur Rock
We’ll start early to beat the heat and hike up to Marsur Rock, where you’ll be rewarded with breathtaking views of the valley. In the evening, unwind by the banks of the Indus River—perfect for soaking it all in and reflecting on an unforgettable journey.

Day 13: Back to Islamabad
Catch a morning flight back to Islamabad. In the afternoon, visit the iconic Faisal Mosque and the charming Saidpur Village. We’ll wrap up the trip with a farewell dinner.Day 14: Time to say goodbye
Today we'll be doing airport drop-offs at Islamabad International Airport throughout the day.

All of the accommodation provided is twin sharing and includes 3-star hotels, camping, guest houses, wooden cabins, and camping.

Our trusty drivers know Pakistan’s roads like the back of their hands. Most journeys will be in
comfortable air-conditioned buses, but we’ll also be hopping in 4x4 jeeps to explore the mountains and taking private transfers to and from the airport.

Visas - A tourist visa is required to travel to Pakistan. The cost of this visa varries depending on your nationality. For most nationalities this fee ranges from $20 to $60. To calculate your visa application fee click here
You are responsible for getting your own visa, but we can help you with your application if necessary.International flights - you'll be flying into Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport and flying out of Islamabad International Airport.
You should book these flights yourself, but if you need any help with finding a good deal then please don't hesitate to ask!Travel Insurance - It is mandatory to have travel insurance to cover your time in Pakistan, and we'll need a copy of your insurance policy.Spending money - As mentioned before most things are included, but if you want to buy things like souvenirs and snacks along the way you'll need some spending money. Each person is different here, but we recommend you to bring roughly $200 spending money.Tips - At the end of the trip, we will pass around an envelope to tip our guides and driver. This is encouraged but not required.

This trip definitely isn't for everyone. You don't need to be a professional athlete or anything, but a basic level of fitness is required as there's a fair bit of trekking involved in this trip. Having said that, we will always be accompanied by experienced English speaking guides and nobody will be left behind. As long as you're comfortable hiking in the mountains, you'll be fine!Your visit to Pakistan will be the adventure of a lifetime, but adventures, at times, can be slightly uncomfortable. Everything will be well organised, but you'll occasionally be dealing with things like bumpy roads and squat toilets.
